Echinacea Standardized Herb Extract from Webber Naturals contains organic echinacea, grown in British Columbia’s pristine Okanagan Valley. Echinacea is used as supportive therapy in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, such as the common cold, and helps relieve the symptoms and shorten the duration of upper respiratory tract infections

Echinacea has been used for centuries as a stimulant to the immune system. Its most common use today is for preventing colds and sore throats, or speeding recovery from these infections. Scientific research with echinacea confirms that it is a profound immune system stimulant and can therefore help prevent the establishment and spread of infections. As an immune system stimulant, the echinacea actives can help the body to increase levels of white blood cells, as well as interferon, interleukins, tumour necrosis factor, antibody activity, and natural killer cell activity. In particular, colds and flu have responded well to echinacea. The stimulation of Echinacea purpurea on the immune system is due to the synergistic action of polysaccharides, alkylamides and cichoric acid.


Each Softgel Capsule Contains:
Echinacea purpurea aerial (liquid extract 1:8) 1700mg, Echinacea purpurea roots (liquid extract 1:8) 300mg, (2000mg crude herb equivalent to 250mg Echinacea herb extract)

Non-Medical Ingredients: Softgel capsule (gelatin, glycerin, purified water, carob) with vegetable oil, starch , lecithin and silica. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or sweeteners, dairy, wheat or yeast.

Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Consult a physician prior to use if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis. Consult a physician prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressants, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Keep out of reach of children.


Recommended dosage (adults): At first sign of infection, take 2 softgels, 3 times daily or as recommended by a physician. For use beyond 8 weeks, consult a physician.
